We did a wedding recently where we really went all out. This wedding was at Aria - a beautiful venue in Prospect, CT where we'd done several events, previously. Here's a reel for this fantastic wedding that we put together.
The Mother-of-the-Bride is a dear friend of mine so it was especially important that everything go as perfectly as can be. We had a number of Photo Booth experiences, as outlined below:
FOR THE COCKTAIL HOUR
Roaming Event Photography
As guests were assembled on the lawn to have drinks and hors d'oeuvres, we had a photographer walking around and photographing the guests with a DSLR camera as they enjoyed each other's company while waiting for the bridal couple to make their entrance. We photographed guests and an overlay was instantly applied to the photo that guests could immediately text to themselves. Our roaming event photography service then automatically texts guests any subsequent photos in which they appear automatically! The guests then end up with their own curated gallery of images by our photographer.
This service continued during the couple's entrance, speeches and throughout the course of the entire night.
Unattended Photo Booth
As the guests made their entrance into the venue following the ceremony, they had an opportunity to use our unattended Photo Booth to have a little fun before the reception officially kicked off. Guests took digital photos and boomerang video clips that they could immediately text to themselves. The Photo Booth was relocated into the main room so that the guests could continue to enjoy helping themselves to make photo and boomerang video clips for the entire rest of the evening.
Traditional Photo Booth
We set up two Photo Booth experiences for the guests to enjoy throughout the event. First up was the unattended booth that created photos and boomerangs for the guests.
The main Photo Booth printed 2x6 strips, used our shiny large sequin backdrop, had supplemental lighting that made the guests really pop and created separation between them and the background for a polished, portraiture style look. Guests were able to text their images to themselves immediately after each session.
Retro Audio Guest Book
This is an audio guest book where guests left congratulatory messages in a voice recorded call for the bride and groom. We spent a little time walking the telephone around to guests so they could leave a message and we placed it on a table where guests could leave messages at their leisure. The final clip had a customized graphic that kept in line with the Photo Booth branding (see below clip).
